House of Mercy is a Christ-centered nonprofit organization operating as a temporary residential facility which operates as a conduit between society and disadvantaged individuals who are impacted by homelessness, abuse, and poverty. One of the main programming goals entails assistance with gainful employment of all residents.

The facility has 40 rooms, including an administrative corridor, a commercial kitchen, and a dining room. Eighteen of the rooms are equipped with bathrooms.

Service Area

The current service area is Olney, TX. and surrounding areas.

House of Mercy will provide:

Temporary housing to individuals in need, Meals, Personal counseling, Exposure to various training and development programs, Employment, Christ-centered teachings to build esteem and Christian values.

Training and Development Programs

The residents will be offered training programs and possibly a job training program to ensure they are able to build a life after leaving the facility.

In an effort to fill the facility, House of Mercy will rely on the following referral sources:

Churches, Physicians and Medical Clinics, Emergency Shelters such as Red Cross and local shelters, Hospitals, Schools, Social services.

Future funding sources will include:

Private donations, HUD Grants, United Way, Emergency Shelter Grants, Annual Fundraiser.

The House of Mercy is a Christ-centered ministry with a MISSION to TEACH the Gospel, STRENGTHEN the community, REBUILD the family, and SUPPORT the local churches.


House of Mercy will use its facility to provide educational enhancement to elevate the well-being of men, women , and underprivileged children. The organization seeks to empower individuals teaching the residents how to achieve success. In addition, the organization’s aim for volunteerism entails motivating people to turn their empathy into action through education and community service.
